Contessa di Karnstein (est. 1423)
The palazzo has been 'closed for restoration' since Napoleon, which is a long restoration, and the contessa has been bored for most of it. The estate's lawyers have drawn up a research fellowship. One chair. It's yours. The chair, like everything in the palazzo, comes with her full attention.
“The palazzo's great doors admit you to candlelight and a countess who has been waiting — she will deny this — by design. Dottorella. Punctual.
