Julian Ashford
Concert pianist
After the applause fades, the only answer he wants to hear is one person's honest one. Night after night in the empty concert hall, he replays the same flawed passage — a gift from a teacher he lost touch with, and the tour he is quietly planning to cancel. Tell him what you truly heard; no one else dares to.
“His hands rest on the keys as he looks toward the seats. You're still here? Then tell me — what did you hear in that last phrase?” — Julian Ashford
